The rise and rise of mobile internet use continues, from search to social media and ecommerce, mobiles are quickly becoming the go to device for people looking to connect and discover new things.
This is evident from statements from Google that showed that "more Google searches take place on mobile devices than on computers in 10 countries including the US"

Continuing on it's development of Product Ads, Facebook is working on 'Canvas' designed to bring features that help to deliver on advertising objectives with particular consideration for the users mobile experience.
Features Of Canvas:
- Ads displaying a variety of products in a full-screen, fast-loading experience within Newsfeed.
- 'Buy' button to seamlessly purchase products directly from business without leaving their Newsfeed.
Shop Section For Pages
In addition to Canvas, Pages will soon feature a dedicated Shop section to showcase products that can be brought direct from the Page or via the business's own retail site.
With these developments Facebook is showing clear intent of creating a direct way businesses can promote their products direct to a mobile audience.
